With EZD2, I would go to the mixer and select the dropdown channel assignments at the bottom of each instrument and send them to my DAW mixer ie…1 kick, 2, snare, 3 hats…..etc
In EZD3, I select multi-channel in the upper left of the mixer window and it auto assigns things in stereo output pairs…1-2 kick, 3-4 snare….etc.
Problem for me is that it puts all the kicks on 1-2. Kick In, Kick Out, and SubKick. I would like to send each instrument to its own channel in my DAW mixer.
So I did that manually. Problem I’m having is that it seems to randomly change. Suddenly instead of my Floor Tom being where it’s supposed to be, I have the Compressed Room mics suddenly blaring in my FL Tom channel…and Floor Tom suddenly has NO channel even though it shows 9-10 as its output channel.
anyway…for me this behavior in EZD3 is weird and causing me to pull my hair out trying to figure out why it just randomly changes. If I change drum kits out, the mixer returns to “zero” as well. In EZD2, I could change drums and it wouldn’t reset my multi channel outputs.
