The three new EZD2 percussion pads (which are generally a great addition) are mapped to midi note #’s 1, 2 and 3. This means that they make some of the maraca samples from Latin Percussion unavailable making it impossible to play the “Maracas Off Beat” sample from LP. I realize that EZD2 has its own maraca samples that you can use, but LP offered increased flexibility with the choice of three different maraca types and separate on/off beat articulations that I’d hate to lose access to.
To summarize:
MIDI NOTE / LP / EZD2
1 / Maracas Off Beat / One Shot
2 / Maracas On Beat / Shaker
3 / Maracas Off Beat / Tambourine
4 / Maracas On Beat / None
5 / Maracas Shake / None
As shown above, EZD2 makes it impossible to play the Maracas Off Beat sample from LP.
Not a huge deal, but something you may want to address.
