I bought some 3rd party midi bass packs and trying to figure out how to properly add them in the the ezbass browser. I have searched around and can’t seem to find the best way to do it. I have successfully accomplished this in my ezdrummer with out a problem.
What bass packs are they? You’re just talking about MIDI, not samples, right? What is the file format of your bass pack?
I have not yet tried this but what I would do is create one of my own grooves and save it. Then I would check find the containing folder and see if the file format is the same as the files in your MIDI pack. If that’s the case I would open the folder where my saved groove was saved and drag the 3rd party files to that folder.
There might me another simpler way, but I don’t have EZBass in front of me right now. I will be working with it later tonight (U.S. CST). If the above doesn’t help you, let me know and I’ll check it out for you when I can.

Thanked by: T-Bone HoodI bought groove monkee’s blues bass midi pack and it was showing under user libraries just like the included ez bass midi packs. When they disappeared I did the restore the factory midi database and now they wont show. I’ll keep trying. lol
IÂ found the “Add Linked Folders” and that did it. Weird i never used that before. lol

Thanked by: LiretjaExcellent! I knew that SD3 had that option but was not sure about EZBass.
One thing I’ve noticed is that Toontrack thinks of pretty much any possible problem and usually has a fairly easy fix for it.
Glad it’s working for you!
