EZBass/ Sender/Calkwalk/not connecting

Hi Toontrack,

I bought Ezdrummer several weeks ago and was absolutely blown away with it which prompted me to buy EZbass software. Your product seems to fit my needs perfectly being a songwriter and not an engineer or tech savvy.  Now to my problem. I’m running Cakewalk by Band Lab. When I open  EZBass  and press  convert audio to MIDI then put audio Sender onto a track in Cakewalk I then call it EzBass 1, go back to Sender and in the drop-down box it’s got EZBass 1.    The Sender Window also has EZBass 1,  a green tick but there’s no input signal in the top left of the window. I then press play in CakeWalk to start recording.  Back in the Sender window, in the right hand corner, it says sending!   I then play guitar into Audio Sender, the track starts to scroll along and the track fills red as if recording, but no signal is being recorded. I’ve looked at lots of YOUTUBE videos but can’t find a solution to this problem.  Both EzBass and Sender are VTS 3 and sampling rate is 44100    Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I think you would have to record your audio to the Cakewalk track first, then use the AudioSender plugin to transfer it from that track into EZbass.

Oops , I thought I’d seen guys on YouTube recording directly into EZbass  my mistake 🤪  I’ll give it a try in the morning. Many thanks.
