[solved] EZBass inusable after update

OK, as mentioned by @Graphix612, the .dll was moved elsewhere.
Copying to the right folder and it works again.

[Hi there,

finally had the time to update EZBass to 1.0.6 + Core MIDI and library update.

Since then I can’t use it anymore in Studio 1 – 5 Artist(up to date). Restarted PC, removed and added
a new instance of EZB several times, no way.

Does anybody have a clue on what’s happening here?

If you in EZbass in Studio One select Help > About EZbass, does it say that the “EZbass Modern” library is version 1.0.6?

Could you go to the folder “%AppData%\Toontrack” (by pasting that into the address field of an Explorer window), zip Installerlog.log and attach it here, please?

I had the same problem when I installed the update as well. the problem is you still have the old version .dll file in your VST’s folder. You have to manually move the new .dll to your folder that you store your vst’s in.

Yes, that could be the issue. But the best solution is not to move the dll but to delete the old dll and add the dll path to the host’s list of VST paths.

Indeed, there’s still the oldd .dll in my VST folder.
Problem is, there is no new one to be moved manually …

The standalone uses the VST, so it is indeed installed. Select “Show Plug-In Path” from the Help menu in the standalone and add that path in Studio One.

problem solved. The installer hadn’t used the previous path. Instead he dropped the .dll into another folder. 😉
Moved it to the original folder and all is well.
