Before i describe whats not working here in EZbass please note that it DOES work with SD3.
When i use Freeze track in protools on my ezbass track any midi on my song track within the plugin remains silent. Only midi on the Pro tools track will play when frozen.
I have superior drummer on a track above it with midi also in the plugins song track and when i Freeze it’s track it it plays all the drums for the whole song.
Im not sure why Ezbass is behaving differently. I really hope i can use the freeze track feature the same as i can with SD3.
Thanks
I have had a similar problem.. as I stated in a previous post. I used both EzBass and Superior Drummer 3 in a number of songs in cubase. SD3 worked as expected. All the EzBass programming I did has just disappeared.
Thats interesting as I’m on a Mac with Pro tools and you are on Windows with Cubase, so it must be a ezbass plugin software issue. If it could behave the same as SD3 that will fix it!
btw the band-Aid is to drop your songs midi track onto a Daw track, freeze from there.
Thanks… yes, you would think that SD3 and EzBass would respond the same… if the tracks for both had disappeared from the songs (I had programmed a dozen songs or so), then I woyld think I did something wrong.
I found a workaround fix for this bug , and posted it in the sd3 forum.
cheers
Hi LDG,
I don’t own SD3 so I don’t have access to your workaround. Can you share one that’s usable in EZbass, EZdrummer and EZkeys please ?
Thank you
