Hello — I’ve been using EZBass just fine the last couple of days in Ableton v10.1.13. This evening, I decided to update EZKeys, and since then, if I try to load the vst, I get this message “A serious program error has occurred. Live will shut down after this message box is closed. Please restart Live and follow the instructions in the ‘Report a Crash’ lesson that will appear in Live’s Help View.” When I click OK, Live shuts down. This happens 100% of the time.
I updated Live to 10.1.14. Same issue. Then I re-installed EZBass. Same issue. Then I re-installed EZ-Keys, and still the same. I’ve restarted the computer numerous time, and have done a hard re-scan of the Live plugins folder. I’m out of ideas… can anyone help?
It works fine in standalone mode. Can anyone help with this? I was having a blast with the software.
I’ve attached the crash report.
Thanks,
Steve
Two of the crashes were in Jamstix4.
The others were in EZbass and it’s the window size issue (caused by using having a “too large” EZbass window in the last session). To make it work again, start the standalone, go to Settings > General and click “Reset Scale and Size”. This will be fixed in the next update.
