ezbass audio export out of sync

Hi,

As a new user, I’m really enjoying the Toontrack products!

I’m running into a problem though. If I create a new part in ezbass as a plugin within a daw, and then export the audio either through ezbass itself or through the bounce function in the daw, the audio between the midi player and the actual audio never nulls out, seems like there is a bit of a delay in the bounced audio file. I have now tried this in two different daws and the problem remains (logic & luna).

Can someone help?

Hi!

Would you mind elaborating a bit? What do you mean when you say that the audio between the MIDI player and the actual audio never nulls out, does the audio ring and get cut off by the end of the bounce? Does this happen for all presets or a particular library / preset? Sample rate and buffer size? If you could upload an EZbass-project where this occurs, that would also be helpful (a ZIP file contaning a .ezbp file).

Hi, thanks for the response and offer to help!

I’ve attached the ezbass project file here. Let me try to explain what the issue is.

• I load this project into a midi track in logic and it plays fine in time with the rest of the song. I’m using a sample rate of 44.1khz
• To preserve cpu resources, I then use track bounce in place to bounce the midi track into an audio file
• During playback, the bounced audio file feels a little delayed in comparison to the midi track
• I check this by inverting the phase of the bounced audio track to check if it nulls with the midi track which it doesnt
• I try this in another daw (luna) to see if the bounced audio file can null with the ezbass project which it doesnt.

Thank you for the additional information. We have located a bug related to timing, where it seems like some playing state variables are not properly reset when playing a track or bouncing to audio, causing this behaviour. There will be a fix for this included in a future update. Thank you!

Hi,

I have an issue with ‘exporting as audio file’. The result is not in sync.

The song in Cubase is build in different tempos. However when played the song in Cubase with EZbass there are no issues. Only the export audio file is not in sync. It doesn’t change with the tempos. Tried to export in different tempos (not following the host) to get the whole song straight in pieces, but then the ‘export’ collapse after a while and doesn’t work anymore.

Is there an other way to get the whole song in sync?
