I have searched the manual and I cannot find where to set up a controller when in Cubase 12. On the standalone I can do it in Settings/Audio MIDI setup and it works fine, but this menu is not there when installed in Cubase. I simply want to use my controllers (Akai or Yamaha) to play a drum on pads or keys when recording in Cubase. Help please!

EZD is not in charge of your Audio/MidiController settings when used in a DAW. Your DAW is responsible for this. In Cubase take a look in Studio>StudioSetup>Midi>MidiPort. I am not an advanced Cubase user though.
If you’re new to using Midi Controllers in your DAW, this vid may help as a beginners guide.
