Thanx ToonTrack for support without support and any answers. I think you lost lot of clients and lot of money .

BTW .  PEOPLE !!  SOLUTION  FOR MAC OSX 10.14.6  Mojave  which solve problem with SEARCH MIDI DATABASE LIbrary and SONG CREATOR:

    Step 1.

Delete all Toontrack files from every folder in every place on MAC:

    • Users/Common/Toontrack
    • Library/AplicationSupport/EZDrummer

Delete all EZDrummer plugins from :

    • Library/AUDIO/PLUGINS :

    – Components

    -VST

After That go to Finder and use option Go To Folder : ~/Library/Application Support/

and delete from Folder Toontrack  folder EZdrummer

Now you are clean from EZDrummer  but you save Toontrack Product Manager

    Step 2.

Install EZDrumer 2.1.8 from Product Manager BUT :

-Here during installation change location for Core Library for examaple to Documents with new Folder

    -Install Update EZDrummer 2.2.1

-Install  Sound library update for MAC 1.1.2

-Install EZdrummer 2 Core MIDI Updates for Mac 1.0.2

After all  run Standalone EZ2 and Authorize  after that you will ask for given folder with your Sound Library

here you ADD your Library path to folder where you installed ( changed location during installation EZ2 2.1.8 on the begining )

    ITs FINISH !!!!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH  and ENJOY !!

PS. Sorry for my english i hope its guide writen clear and easiest how i could .

I have this error in SD3.  No grooves and there is an read error for the Midi Database.  Driving me crazy!

Don’t know if it’s a problem with EZDrummer, the upgrade to SD3 from EXDrummer 2, an issue with Superior Drummer 3 or something altogether different.

Yeah John, I’ve rebuilt that darn database at least 60 times.  I’ve actually tried everything I could find to try to fix this.

The really odd thing is that I can actually run SD2 in Logic Pro and the grooves are there…even those that are for SD3.

I really want to use the software and I’m getting kinda desperate.

    OK,

    please try the following:

    Close SD3 and/or EZdrummer 2.
    Go to User/Library/Application Support/Toontrack/

The “User” Library folder is hidden in OS 10.7 and above, from the Finder menu at the top of the screen, click ‘Go’ then hold down the Option key, which will reveal the ‘Library’ entry in the Menu. OR click ‘Go > Go to folder > and enter “~/Library” (without quotes).

In the User Library/Application Support/Toontrack folder, first navigate to ‘Superior3’. Then delete all files there that start with “MidiDB” and the “OnlineMidi” folder, repeat for the ‘EZdrummer’ folder then restart the computer and re-launch SD3/EZD2.

    BR,
    John

    Ok John,

Did what you suggested and now there is a different error.  I will try to rebuild the library and see if that works.

The error was that there no libraries found.  Just had to reinstall the last two things I downloaded and voila, they were fixed!
