EZ PLAYER ….please help.

man i am very frustrated
i have just began to use the program and already im finding that it doesnt work as explained in the manual.
im sure im just not understanding something and i hope someone can help me resolve my issues.

1.after initial install all the midi was in the browser. but after i bought extreme library and monster midi the only thing in the ezplayer browser is
one folder named peter fredlander sticks .?? it has a diff name in the grooves section of superior 2 .. but what i am wondering is where the hell have all the midi from sd 2 gone? how can i get all into the ez player browser.

number 1 has since been rectified.

2 when attemting to have multiple seperate “tracks” (not layers) play simultaniously it is hit or miss. i would say if i do it with 2 traks only then 1 out of 7 times they will start together. if i try 3 traks forget it . it will never all 3 sync together.
and the detail on this would be that i am trying to start the from the bottom most play button. after i set all the playheads to the begining.

3 as for the layer handling section, i can not for the life of me get the random function to operate as it should. the other 2 (play all and step through ) are fine but the random one is any thing but random.what exactly is it supposed to do? because after reading the manual several times it doesnt seem to do what that describes..??

after watching the toontrack tutorial on youtube, i did notice that when the gentlmen explains this “random feature” he doesnt actualy use it..? ie engage it in the video. he skips over it. and leaves it in play through mode. while speaking of the random feature.

i realy hope this is user error.. can someone please tell me how to fix these things? because it makes me not want to even use the thing if everything i try
doesnt work. etc.. or i should say i do not want to continue to feel as though i am “beta” testing the software.

i hope my intended purpose in writing this comes through, for it has no other than to clarify what i may be misunderstanding.
so far i realy like superior 2 but i am just not having good luck with the ez player. i wish i was because i could use the hell out of the advertised features.!

any advice is appreciated.

all issues have been resolved except for issue # 3

as far as i can tell the random setting just acts as a second playthrough mode instead of being a “random” mode.

I don’t know what you mean by ‘second playthrough’… the layer randomization is that, a random pick among the layers at each pass.

There is no such thing as a ‘random’ sequence in the computer world however, just long pre-determined sequences of numbers. If you get twice the same layer playing through in a row though, that’s quite possible, but if you mean more than one /all layers plays through that’s not happening at our end and the feature works as expected here.

Please make sure you update to EZplayer pro version 1.0.7 just released however so we are sure we are looking at the same environment as you.

thank you rogue for clearing that up.
yeah if thats what its to do then i guess thats what it does.
what i meant by second playthrough was that it switches layer to layer like playthrough mode(this was my mistake because upon further investigation i realize i was wrong.so not realy like playthrough mode),even so ,after reading the manual, it was just as i was thinking it would work etc.my apologies.
thanks for the timely responce though. and i just downloaded 1.07 aswell.
