EZ Mix Updated – plugin/vst not working/being read; standalone ok

Hey there!

I see this has been an issue, but here’s what I am seeting.

Running Ableton 11 Suite – EZ Mix was working fine before the update to 2.2.2 in both standalone and VST in Ableton.

I updated and got the error message using it as plugin that presets were not present as I’ve seen in other posts.

Uninstalled and reinstalled –

• Plugin path for Ableton is correct – it’s reading EZ drummer 3 from this path as well as other plugins
• Standalone is working with updates

Checking the installer, however, did not see an update on the dll file and it’s showing one that was installed in 2/2022, rather than today (5/4).  That is, it did not ask me where to put the dll file during installation.  So I’m thinking I need an updated dll file to match the 2.2.2 update?  If so, did not see during install Wizard.

Any guidance would be appreciated – thanks!

I copied and pasted the dll file into all the folders, not just the one, that Ableton scans for VSTs and now it works.

So I guess if you’re having this issue is – copy and paste into ALL folders your DAW scans for.  For some reason it wasn’t reading it from that folder in the post above.
