Probably a dumb questions but here goes
If I use EZ mix2 presets on tracks like guitar, vocals etc like from the Straub presets etc
Do you then run the new master presets on the same track?
Confused>
Shouldnt the master preset be on the master track (last of chain) before output?
I thought mastering was a EQ of the entire mix as one?
Anyone?
The best thing about EZmix is to experiment with the presets. Use a ‘Kick’ preset on a bass guitar. Use a ‘Snare’ preset on a guitar. Use a guitar preset on a snare. Try it out and experiment…you won’t get thrown in ‘Preset Jail’
Traditionally speaking, mastering plugins go on your stereo output channel. But, you can use them on any stereo bus. For example, say you have 5 guitar tracks. Bus them to a single stereo bus and apply an EZmix so you’re processing all 5 guitars with one preset. Or stack 2 or 3 ‘bus’ presets (2 or 3 EZmixs on the same track) on a single stereo bus.

I’m sort of lost with this as well. You can plug the rest of the presets into the individual tracks, but if you have the Mastering EZ Mix expansion pack where is the option to use it within EZ Mix 2? Also do you master the enter project, or just the individual tracks within the project?
