EZ Mix 2 Standalone

Hi There,

Just a quick question, Can you play guitar through EZ Mix without going through a DAW.. (ie, just to jam or practice as a standalone.. like Bias FX does)

If yes.. then even with the correct ASIO in Audio settings, all I`m getting is the dry guitar ..and the metronome when activated.

short answer is: Yes

Which version do you have installed? Which Preset is selected?
Which Audio interface are you using? OS?

Hi.. And thank you for replying,

I`m using Windows 7 Professional, going through a Focusrite Scarlett Solo.. with studio headphones. Using EZ Mix 2 64
Nothing but the dry guitar comes through on all presets (downloaded the 6 pack bundle).

I have EZ Drummer 2 working fine as a standalone btw.

Hi John,

Thanks for helping out.. but I managed to trouble shoot the problem. My Focusrite Solo seems to have a fault, so I dug out my old spare interface to double check and guitars are coming through fine. The Focusrite is now being replaced. with a new one.

Hi jacob0187,

 

it sounds as if you have the Direct Monitoring on full in your Focusrite interface, which lets you monitor the dry signal instead of the processed.
