EZ MIX 2 expansion packs not fully working

Hi , i am using EZ MIX 2 and only have the Chuck Ainley expansion sets , since upgrading to EZ MIX 2 i have noticed that the reverb ( or right control knob ) does nothing . On the vocal presets the reverb is set and can not be changed . It worked fine in EZ MIX 1 . I have also reinstalled it and still not working .Can anyone help .

I’m glad someone else is writing in about this issue. I noticed the same thing with the Songwriter’s Tools EZ Mix pack when used in EZMix 2.0.
Here is the info that I sent to Toontrack support:

HI,
I am using EZMix 2 Songwriter’s Tools in Pro Tools 11.3.1.
I am also using it as a standalone app. When I have any preset selected from the Songwriters Tools pack, the reverb/ambiance/delay knob (the 2nd knob in the interface) doesn’t respond to increasing/deacreasing the amount of the ‘ambience’ effect. It is just always ‘on’, even when the knob is set at 0%. Turning it to 100% doesn’t increase the effect, either.

I have adjusted the 2nd knob (reverb/ambience/delay) in other packs, such as the Core EZ Mix 2 pack and the Mixing Toolbox pack, and the knob increases/decreases the effect as expected.

The reply I received from support was not helpful. I, too, will submit some preset names here from the Songwriters Pack.

In fact, I can’t find a preset in this pack where the 2nd control know has any effect on the sound of the preset.

I am using PT 11.3.1, EZ Mix v.2.0.9 (64 bit)

Any consideration you can give this is appreciated.

Thanks for reporting this. We have located the issue. All presets in Songwriters Tools are indeed affected as well as many presets in earlier packs (those that worked with EZmix 1), including Chuck Ainlay. We will work to get a fix out as soon as we can.
