I am having the same problem with the death metal guitar pack with studio one three. I’ve updated easy mix 2 but it shows the older version in the daw.

    Hi,

the most common problem in a situation like this is if you have manually copied or moved the ezmix.dll VST plugin file post install to a custom VST plugin folder.
I would simply perform a Search on the system for ‘ezmix.dll’, delete all instances that show up and then re.run the latest EZmix2 update (currently 2.1.5).

Next, point your host (Cubase/Studio One/etc) to the location of your ezmix.dll, in its scan for VST plugins.
On Windows, you can find the location of the dll file by opening the Standalone and go to the Windows Help menu and select ‘Show Plug-In Path’.

I haven’t moved any of the downloads but will try your suggestion this weekend. What’s strange is it works on in studio one four with no issue.

I’ve updated easy mix 2 but it definitely shows the older version on studio one three. I’d there something I’m doing with the updating?

thanks so much for the response.

Well, if you have different hosts loading different versions, you have indeed several .dll files on your system, so removing all and re-installing the latest update will make sure you only have one. Then make sure your hosts load this one by pointing them to this .dll file.

Ok how do I go about doing this? I’m not totally computer literate.

where do I look for the .dll file. Etc. Etc.

    • your help us greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
if you perform a Search in the Explorer for ‘ezmix.dll’ it should list the existing copies on your system.

So if I right click and delete all the ezmix.dlls then update ezmix I’ll be on the right track? I’m just concerned about losing what works in studio one four.

    Yes.

I don’t see why it would stop working in one of your hosts, if it picks up the right version. You do not want several different versions on your system.

    Hi!

I bought EZ Lead Vocals and EZ Mastering Pack, but they does´nt work without first updating my old EZMIX 2 from 2012..

however, I did the upgrade but I cannot get it into Pro Tools the new EZMIX 2 and the old one dissapeared from my pro tools ?

Why ? Now I have been in touch with ToonTracks support nearly 6 hours today but no success..I´ve done everything they said

that I should do. When I then launch my Pro Tools I get some mentioning about ILock (what has that to do with EZMix 2)and

some damaged plugins and not authorized things…well but Product Manager says that everything is ready to use (green lights ) !

I have fully paid the plugins and authorized them too.

So I wonder can somebody help me with this? I can see the “stand alone” version on my screen but I can´t get it into Pro Tools

    Plugins/Inserts

    Sincerely Pepe L

Sorry to hear that. We can see that your support ticket has been answered and that there seems to be a corrupt registry key preventing you from uninstalling EZmix 2.2.4 (which is not supported in your Pro Tools version 10.3.0).

When EZmix 2.2.4 is fully uninstalled, you should be able to install EZmix 2.1.5 which installs a plug-in format that should load in your Pro Tools version. You could also update Pro Tools to at least version 10.3.5, that version may be able to load the AAX plug-in that EZmix 2.2.4 installs. It’s the first version of Pro Tools that supports AAX plug-ins.

    Hey To Petter Adsten !

Was the EZmix2 the old one that I had and then dissapeared something else than AAX plug-in, because it worked well with no problems

in my “old” 10.3.0. Pro Tools?

I really miss that version. And I wonder ,why did it vanished during the upgrade?,I surely did not take it away or uninstalled it !!!

Now I don´t have it anymore, is there anybody who can tell me, that how I can get it back?

I still have the old authorization code for it!

Greeting from very very sad Pepe
