Hello all,
Its my first time posting and still new to EZ-Keys,
I’ve applied a midi file to a chord sequence and accepted it as it’s fine, however I’ve realised I’ve made a mistake in one of the bars
I’ve two chords within one bar for example an F & G
my mistake is that the change is happening to quickly I need to extend the F chord by one ‘measure’
I could do this before midi was applied and accepted, by dragging the blocks to the desired point in the bar
As I’ve accepted the midi a cant do anything with the chord position, is there a way to get the ‘blocks’ back? i.e. remove the midi?
Apologies if this is a simple question, I just don’t seem to be able to figure it out and I don’t want to have to start the progression again
by deleting if there is a fix?
Thank you in advance for any help.
Andy
I think that is an easy fix. Cut the bar right after (F,G). slide down the the ending portion by one bar creating an open one bar space. Then drag the first portion to extend out one bar into that open space. Reassign a G to that new bar. Finally you need to remove the G from the first bar… but that should be easy for you. If all goes well you will not have to reassign the browser midi. It should assign the proper midi to the new chord.
Thank you Jazzmandan,
I shall try that,
As for as you are aware once you’ve accepted
the midi file there is no way to revert back
to the blocks again?

I would agree with that conclusion. 10 years ago what it did was amazing, but it just never grew up.
