I am using EZ Keys with my Mac on Big Sur without any problems. Until today. I installed Focusrite Scarlette 4i4 interface, which ia an upgrade, but suddenly my EZ Keys doesn’t work. You can’t even hit the play button??? I’ve tried re-installing EZ Keys but no such luck
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks
Mark
Hi,
I presume you are talking about the Standalone app and not the plug-in?
Can you switch audio device in the Settings > Audio/MIDI Setup?
Does the Standalone behave as expected with the Mac’s internal sound device or any other available device?

Thanks John, that did the trick. When setting it up initially I kind of messed up and did it as a stand alone. But, never had a problem with it until I upgraded my interface.
Thanks again
I’m having a similar problem. I recently upgraded to a new computer( iMac Studio) with Monterrey iOS from an all-in-one iMac with the same OS. I had no issues with that system. Now whenever I try to use Toontrack EasyKeys as a stand-alone with the new computer, I only get sound through computer speaker. In sound settings on the iMAC Studio, I’ve changed the output speaker from computer to my audio device (PreSonus AudioBox 96). EasyKeys works fine within my DAW(Studio One 5), but will only play through my computer speaker as a stand alone. Are there settings within the program that I am somehow missing? I’ve searched within the program without any success. Is there something wrong with my setup?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
