EZ Keys 2 Bandmate

Hi, my Reaper Daw will not let me drag and drop my acoustic guitar WAV files into EZ Keys 2.

The WAV file goes behind the EZ Keys 2 GUI and will only move the track to another track?

Also, I cannot copy and paste the track into EZ Keys 2 if this were an option?

I must be doing something very basic, wrongly I think…

Hi Alan,

I think this might be a software limitation :(. I experience a similar behavior in Ableton. Hopefully,  toontrack can fix this in the future

On Mac, No. On PC, I think it’s Control+Alt+Drag (Reaper PC only).

It’s not a TT issue on Mac. It’s an OS permissions issues as I’ve been told. I doubt TT can fix this for you, for now.

Thanks for the clarification shootie, that’s unfortunate for us Mac users, but good to know. Fingers crossed the issue can be fixed in the future.

Try this on Ableton. Only tested on PC thus far. Keep in mind Control probably means Command… for a video I’m prepping….

“Control R will rename a clip. Renaming a clip to what you want but putting three zeros in the beginning of the name will help you locate it instantly. Select/highlight the loop you want. Hut Control J, this will consolidate the clip, but also export it to your project samples folder. Simply select the Project Samples folder, and because we named it starting with zeros, here it is at the top. If you don’t like that you’ve consolidated this region, hit undo now. The consolidated region will revert, but the exported wav file in the samples folder will still be there. Simply drag that file to Bandmate and you’ve in action.”

Hi Guys, for us PC users, Ctrl & Alt & Drag works fine, I hope that Mac users can work out a solution soon.

Hi,

Here is what is going on on my system (PC), I use mostly Ableton Live 11 and used to work, now I cannot drag a midi file from inside Live anymore, but on Cubase 12 it works fine. So, must be something with the latest Ableton update. The same happen to EZBass
