Ez Drummer won’t work with GarageBand

I’ve tried just about everything, but I cannot get GarageBand to work with ez drummer 3.

I’ve followed everything I’m supposed to, I’ve checked the plug in box to use ez drummer, but then all that appears is a black box with settings. I’ve not seen this on any forums or questions.

Hi,

Open GarageBand Preferences and turn off “Open plug-ins in Controls view by default” under “Accessibility” in the General tab.
