EZ Drummer WAV files won’t play

Good day, I just downloaded EZ Drummer and am using it in FL Studio 11. I noticed EZ Drummer came with several WAV files with drum sounds. When I add these folders into the FL Browser, they don’t play. In fact, I can’t seem to play the files in anything from Windows Media Player to iTunes. Any idea why they won’t play?

Yes. Those wav files can only be played by EZdrummer. They are the drum sounds and are a wav format tgat EZdrummer uses and can’t be used by any other program.

As if Toontrack wants those files in the public domain. Use EZ drummer as a VST or AU in your host. If you want drum .wav sounds, you can find plenty on the internet. As for the drum sounds, I’ve heard that the basic kit, and also, especially Drums from Hell are among the most used drum sounds, so if you want something not so recognizable and common, you might try Metal Machine, which can be eq’d for rock and has extra toms and cymbals. You might subscribe to Audiodeluxe’s website, as the different kits go on sale every so often, sometimes for 1/2 off. Gxulien
