EZ Drummer opens in solo different.

Latly…today! When I open the stand=alone EZ drummer through Solo, When I select EZ Drummer it opens to the Mixer tab ( never has done this in the past) then when I select the Drums tab to view the kit when EZ drummer2 Modern is selected only the kick has sound now?

I tried to re-load Solo now I’m getting this; Ron

I have EZ Drummer on my system but can’t find where it’s loaded. does it piggyback off regular EZ drummer cause I can’t find a DLL file for it.

Any advise/help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

what happens if you open the EZdrummer 2 Standalone application (recommended), instead of loading it in Toontrack solo (not recommended)?

Hi John.

It seems to work properly outside the solo. I think I might have resolved the issue on my own. I first went into the mixer out-put section and selected the “stereo” option next I selected the “Drums” tab as I prefer that to be the window that greets me, when the program first opens ( My personal Preference). After making these two changes, I went to the menu drop-down and selected the project option, and chose (set as default project) now, it seems to be back as it was.. before all this. Why it had changed is beyond me! I’ve opened and closed solo now several times to test it, and all seems fine, so I’ll say it’s resolved. I have not fully tested it although.
John, Thanks for you reply…curious why you say opening EZ Drummer2 in Solo is not recommended? Isn’t that what Toontrack had in mind when they created Solo?

Hi,

Toontrack solo is intended for E-drummers using the older products EZdrummer 1 and Superior 2.
EZdrummer 2 is a newer product, so the EZdrummer 2 standalone application was better optimized.
