ez drummer not recognizing superior drummer 3

my Mixcraft 9 studio Pro DAW reconizes my ez drummer 2, but does not recognize my superior drummer 3 which i bought on ebay w/o a license.  The superior drummer 2 works perfect as a standalone, but not with the DAW.

EZdrummer version: 2.2.3
Operating system: Windows 10
