hi all
EZ Drummer is not showing up in studio one. I am following the file path buy no luck.
Any help or advice please?
What version of Studio One? If you’re using the free version, EZD2 will not work without a paid third party plugin.

You didn’t provide enough detail to fully answer your post; however, I also have problems with EZD2 loading in Studio One and found that if I run the Plugin Manager and select the option to Remove Plugin Settings and restart Studio One the EZD2 plugin fires up and magically appears. I have tried a whole bunch of possible fixes without any luck. Unfortunately this is just a workaround as you have to perform this procedure EVERY TIME you startup Studio One.

Are you running the free version of Studio One? This seems it may be a cool workaround if so. I don’t use Studio One, but I am curious, many people do and ask about it.

I’m running Studio One 4 x64 Pro. My workaround for the EZD2 plugin not loading should work in the free version as long as it contains a functional Plugin Manager applet. Perhaps someone running the free version can give it a try and update this thread with the results. I’m surprised to hear this problem is so wide spread. I would hope that either Presonus or Toontrack would chase it down and provide a real fix. I paid up for both these products and expect the support people to figure it out. I could have gone with XLN Addictive Drums, but decided to stick with my old favorite instead.

EZdrummer version: 2.1.8
Operating system: Windows 10
Let us know that which version of Studio One you are running. Studio One Prime (the free version) doesn’t work with any 3rd party VST plug ins. Studio One Artist does as long as you are running Studio One 5 and of course Studio One Pro supports third party VSTs and as far as I know, always has.
I run EZD2 in Studio One Pro with no problems in both Windows 10 and Mac. Some more information would be helpful.
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)
Did you ever find a permanent fix rather than the work around? I have the same issue and the workaround works, but it’s a pain. Thanks.
I’ve had ezmix, ezkeys, and ezdrummer2 – all 64-bit. Ive been using them for a while with Studio One 5 Pro. One day out of the blue ezmix stopped working. I reinstalled it and it worked but then it stopped again. The weird thing was that at that point the other toontrack products were still working. Now all of my toontrack products have stopped working. While they still show up in studio one, any of the channels that I added ezmix to for example before it stopped working now appears in red (as you can see in the picture)and no longer works. When I attempt to edit it, I get the message that’s in the picture “The device is not installed on your system” even though it clearly is. I’ve tried moving the .dll files to various different folders and adding them to the plugin location as well as reinstalling the plugins – to no avail. I’ve spent hours going thru blogs and have not found a solution. and help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
