    Log out from the computer and back in. That often helps.

    Olof, I did as you suggested and logged out from the computer.  Still have the same problem.  Neither EZKeys nor EZDrummer are available in Logic Pro.  I can run both of them as stand-alones, but they are not integrated into the DAW.  Both EZ products are in the iMac HD Library at Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components, yet they will not appear on Logic Pro. As stand-alones I cannot integrate midi files from EZKeys or the EZDrummer into the Logic Pro transport as midi files.  I can export them as audio files into Logic, but that is not my goal.  Is there anyone at Toontracks who can contact me directly?  I have spoken in depth with Apple Support and they assure me that I have loaded everything correctly.  I have removed both products from the iMac library, put them in the Trash, shut off both the iMac and Logic Pro, restarted the computer and then put them back into the iMac library.  Nothing has helped.  There simply appears to be a disconnect between the two systems and Logic Pro will not read either EZ product.   I have worked days on end trying to resolve this and nothing works.  After spending over $300, I think I deserve some direct assistance.  Can someone please contact me directly, or can you provide me with a number to call?  Thank you,  John Kelly

    Are they listed in Plug-in Manager in Logic (in the Preferences submenu)? If they are disabled there, try to enable them (and use Reset & Rescan).

    Maybe you are just not looking for them in the right place in Logic, since you mentioned “AU” in the menu. The correct menu – for instruments and not effect slots – contains submenus “AU Generators” and “AU Instruments”. EZdrummer and EZkeys will be in the latter.

    If none of the above helps, could please you open Terminal (in Applications > Utilities) and run these commands:

    auval -a

    auval -v aumu EZks Toon

    auval -v aumu DfhE Toon

    Then press cmd-S to save the Terminal contents to a file.

    Olof, no, they are not in the Plug-in Manager in Logic. I have a friend who just purchased EZDrummer and that is where they are in his Logic program.  I do not understand your directions for the Terminal.  Do you have any other ideas?  How about putting me in direct contact with someone who can help?  Thanks, John

    Very sorry for the delay, I missed that you replied. Well, it is possible to open a support ticket but they usually take my help in issues like this and it goes through email only.

    In the Toontrack Product Manager application, if you click “Show Details” under EZdrummer 2 and EZkeys and then click “Installation Info”, does it say that AU is installed?

    Please open Applications > Utilities > Terminal and paste the following text (7 lines) into the Terminal window, all at once, and hit Enter:

    auval -a
    auval -v aumu EZks Toon
    auval -v aumu DfhE Toon
    ls -leO@d /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/EZ*
    find /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/EZdrummer.component/ -exec md5 {} \;
    find /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/EZkeys.component/ -exec md5 {} \;
    echo

    After a few seconds, when the commands have finished, open the “Shell” menu in the Terminal application and select “Export Text As…” from that menu. Click Save and attach the saved file to your reply, please. (By default, it is saved with the name “Terminal Saved Output.txt” in your Documents folders.)
