EZ drummer in Garage Band

Greetings,

Using EZ drummer 2 plug in. I’ve been double clicking on the drum parts in Garage Band, and then the editor with all the individual hits show up below. I was able to move or delete hits. Now I delete them, and they are visually gone, but they are still there in the audio….. in fact I can delete the whole region from garage band and there are still drum hits there……this is maddening. Thanks.

Don’t know which version of EZ drummer 2 I have as there is no “about” in the pull down of the program itself….. MACOS is Mojave (Not an option in the pull down on this forum)

On edit….. figured it out. The recorded piece in the plug in window ALSO plays. Removing it requires using the slightly hidden pull down on the right side…. THEN all that is left is what is in the Garage Band region.

Or, alternatively, you can turn off the “Follow Host” button on the EZD2 interface when you have MIDI on both a MIDI track in GB and the Song Track in EZD2 so they don’t play back simultaneously. That way you don’t have to delete anything.
