EZ Drummer errorcode 1325 windows

After buying some of the ezx from your specials the last few days and today the Esx electronic edge, I had to update Ezdrummer finally!
Either by updating to the newest version of ezdrummer through the manager and I tried to unpack the files by itself, I get the errorcode 1325.

Even if I want to deinstall the ezdrummer and the update both from 2018, (I have to entries in the apps folder), I get the same errorcode 1325.

I dont have the problems within the superior drummer.

So what can I do?

BTW, I made 70 songideas in 70 days last year, mostly with done with EZD and SDX.

could you please specify the full error message? Something like ‘is not a valid short name’ or similar?

the message is error code 1325: Toontrack is not a valid short name.

then I decided to deinstall the complete EZ.
It didnt work with the normal deinstall cause of the error code, so I deleted all registry entries with regedit.

Then I restarted the PC and started with a fresh install of EZ 1.0 which worked,
but in the next update to 64bit ( version1.4) I got the errorcode 1325 again in the installation process and it didnt install to the end..

I dont have the full version of EZ 2.0, just an update to 2.0, started with toontrack EZ1.0 in 2009.

I’m pretty sure, that when I do a fresh install win10 on the naked pc, it will work, probably.
But it takes two days of installing the complete music progs to the actual state, I try to avoid this, til now.

Btw,
Is it possible to get an EZ 2.0 version in the product manager, instead of the old EZ1.0 with the update to 2.0?

OK,

please try with Downloading and running Windows installer Clean up utility:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d

Select EZdrummer 1 + 2.

Reboot your PC and start Toontrack’s Product Manager.

The Update from version 1 is just a license formality, it is the very same software and content as in the Regular version, i.e. you do not need to install EZdrummer 1 before you install EZdrummer 2, since the plug-in will be replaced anyway.
