EZ Drummer drag and drop feature

I am using Mixcraft 5 and when I try to drag and drop a Playing Variation onto the track, it only plays like a midi file (you know, the keyboard notes, and not the actual drum beat. What am I doing wrong?

Then the output of that MIDI track isn’t reaching the EZdrummer plugin. Please check the track routings in your host.
