Just noticed some songs I have done over the last year suddenly started playing a crash cymbal instead of the GM D2 high tom. I contacted support and they said they have changed this. I guess what I am looking for is why? This change requires me to change the position of all the songs that use the D2 high tom trigger. What version did this change take place? I will revert back to the version prior, to avoid all the work involved changing the high tom position.

As I run version 1.3.1 and all is well this must be a new alteration since v.1.3.2. I would really like to know what’s the advantage of this, as all 3rd party GM compliant MIDI loops will be incompatible since this is the case.
Can someone from Toontrack explain?
our mapping shares many common assignments with GM but is not compliant with every GM note – the change has taken place as our mapping and products feature 5 toms and not 6. The 4 cymbal mutes will from here on be featured in the zone of the map that is the most convenient to reach.
