So I fell in love with EZD so much I bought EZ Keys this week as well. The run as standalone perfectly, however in Protools AND in Logic, when I change the presets of the drum sounds, certain presets (Metal/80’s) without fail cause the DAW to completely crash with no crash report. Same thing in two DAWs. Some of the presets operate normally, other cause an instant crash. The entirety of my Dream Pop library causes it to crash, unfortunately. I’m running a MacBook Pro i9 with 32gigs of ram and have no problems with tons of plugins. I have a suspicion that it’s related to Monterey. EZ keys ALSO has the same kind of issue going on, certain presets crashing the DAW, yet working fine as a standalone. I hope I can get this sorted out. This software is awesome when it’s working and I’d hate to ditch it.
What version of Pro Tools and Logic are you using? An issue like this was fixed in the latest Pro Tools version. But we are not aware of any such issue in Logic. Do you have any crash logs for Logic to upload?

Thanks for your time, as far as I can see there’s no such crash report as Logic just fails completely without any notice or additional data. I’ll test it again tonight and see if I can find any further info. Also, I’ve tried to fully uninstall EZKeys (because its been having the exact same issue, certain presets crashing the daw) but I’m having trouble finding the proper uninstaller. Even when I reinstall as per your instructions on another thread the uninstall box is still grayed out for me. I then uninstalled from the finder, and now I’ve got a message in The Toontrack app manager that says ‘standalone not installed’ (see below) even if I try and reinstall it. Thoughts?
To get the standalone installed from that state, download the version 1.3.2 update and start that installer. On one of the pages in the installer, there will be a “Customize” button. Click that, tick the checkbox for the standalone and finish the installation.
Crash logs are saved in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
– open Finder’s “Go” menu, select “Go to Folder…” and paste that path (all of the purple text) into the dialog.

Thanked by: roman.williamsExcellent. Thanks I’d never of found that one. Update: I was running last years version of protools. I updated PT from avid and now no more crashes. When I renstalled EZD and EZK and Dreampop I don’t have any more crashes from Logic either. So thanks a ton. Nice Seifer. 🙂
