Hi
Is there anyone on here running EZ Drummer with Studio One Version 4.
I have dropped EZ Drummer 2.1.8 into an instrument Ch track. I want to record from the song track in EZ Drummer into the instrument track in Studio One, there is a signal coming out of EZ Drummer mixer and the signal is showing in the mixer in Studio One, when I start the record button the track looks active with a green recording line going along the track but there is no midi display showing, when I stop recording the green line disappears from the track and nothing has been recorded, anyone on her who may be able to help me. I also have EZkeys and that works perfectly.
Regards
Michael
You don’t need to record, you can simply drag the midi files into the instrument track of Studio One.
You can make 1 block of all the parts by holding down leftbutton of mouse and move over blocks.
Hi Micheal
How did you load EZ Drummer into Studio One Version 4? I am struggling with this.
Thanks
Chris
EZDrummer will show up in the instruments tab of the plug in list, usually on the right side of the screen, in Studio One Pro 4 or Studio One Artist 4 if you have purchased the third party VST add on option.
From there just drag it into your session and a new track will be created.

That is my problem. It does not show up in my instrument list. My other VST plugins do but not EZ drummer.
Hi Christopher,
you’re on Windows, right?
If you start the EZdrummer 2 stand-alone app, you can access the Help Menu > Show Plug-In path to see the path to where the VST plug-in is installed.
In Studio One you go to Preferences > Locations > VST Plug-Ins and make sure the path to where your EZdrummer VST plug-in resides is included. If not, please add it.
You can also try ‘Reset Blacklist’ if EZdrummer 2 for some reason would be blacklisted.

John

Thanks John. That sorted it. Yes I am on Windows 10.
Much appreciated.
