At the risk of sounding incredibly thick, is there antone who can tell me how to set up EZ drummer with Sonar 7 in a simple dummy manner? I know nothing of midi, just want to record guitar with drum trax. I have tried so many different permutations and basically can never hear the drum tracks. I did hit on it once but it was completely by accident. Here is what I want to do.
I simply want to drag and drop the EZ drummer parts on to the track. I just want one drum track (not seperate ones for each EZ drummer drum part). How do I set up the tracks in Sonar? Firstly, I have been inserting vst plugin EZD with midi ouput. I have been inserting an audio track and selecting EZ drummer as the input. Basically, I can’t even hear the drums if I just hit the play button in EZ drummer synth rack. If I use EZ drummer stand alone it works fine. I have so many drum packs which I’ve purchased and cannot get use them which is very frustrating.
I am looking for a complete step by step instruction to setting this up which will work every time. Advise GREATLY appreciated.
