I can use the Nanopad2 in EZ Drummer 3 as a stand alone, but I can’t find a way to use it as a controller for EZ Drummer 3 in Pro Tools. Does anyone know a step by step way to do that? You’ll need to be descriptive because I am not familiar with MIDI.
Hi,
it slightly depends on which version of Pro Tools you are using but in general, you should insert the EZdrummer 3 plug-in on a Stereo Instrument Track and then record-arm the track. Then you should be able to trigger the plug-in via the Nanopad2.

Thank you for your reply. I thought I had done that the first times I set it up, but after your response I tried it again. This time it worked!!!!
