EZ Drummer 3 Where is the Key Mapping?

Hello,

I can’t find the Key Mapping for  EZ Drummer 3.

• There is only a “manual”, which links to the Toontrack website.
• The Menu where is was accessible as a pdf in EZ Drummer 2 is gone.
• Right clicking on a kit piece in the Drum Tab opens a selection, but the details option from EZ Drummer 2 is gone.
• C:\Program Files\Toontrack\EZdrummer 3 leads to a pdf with no manual or keymapping, it only says “TO FIND THE LATEST MANUAL FOR EZDRUMMER 3 PLEASE FOLLOW THE LINK BELOW https://www.toontrack.com/manual/ezdrummer-3”

Does someone have an idea where the Key Mapping can be viewed?

PS EZdrummer 3.0.0 can’t be selected in the options of “Your EZdrummer version”, only EZdrummer 2 versions.

EDIT 1:
When opening the EZ Drummer 3 Core Library in Superior Drummer 3, the Key Mapping is visible.
But that can’t be the final solution, as many EZD3 owners don’t have SD3 …

EDIT 2:
When opening the Play Style Editor in EZ Drummer 3, all articulations can be viewed with the Opening Hit selector.
Still not the final solution, but a work around till the problem is addressed …

If you open the E-Drums Settings tab, you’ll be able to click on a kit piece and view the MIDI Mapping!

Hi Andi,

The development team is aware of this issue and they are looking at solutions. We appreciate the feedback! Right now, you can view the old EZX PDF key mappings in the sound library folder of each EZX (default location for Mac: Mac HD > Library > Application Support > EZDrummer PC: C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesToontrackEZDrummer).

In EZD3, you can view the current mapping configuration for each instrument in Settings > E-Drums > Mapping.
