Hi all,
Can anyone help me to find an answer to whether there is a section within EZD 3 where I can see just a small midi snippet of lets say a snare that I can drag or copy and paste into the groove Ive got from one of my packs.
Maybe that’s not possible but when a groove is very close and you just need that extra bit of skill that your hands cant replicate it would a wonderful addition.
I cant be the first to think of this so many apologies to you all if Ive brought this to the fore again but my search was fruitless.
Thank you for taking the time

“Groove Parts” in EZDrummer3??

Thanked by: lbrkrDouble click the Groove in the Song Track/Timeline so it launches in the Grid Editor and is highlighted/focused on.
With the Pointer Tool, drag a selection around the dots/hits you’re interested in. Right click on the selected dots and hit copy.
Move the cursor/playhead to where you want to paste them. Right click near playhead and select paste.
There’s a lot of solutions, but if it’s really particular notes, you must use the Grid Editor. You select/copy/paste like you would in a Word document.

Thanked by: lbrkr and Scott EshlemanThanks very much for your help.
That’s obviously the only way to do it. I was hoping there was a folder or sub menu with small midi parts in so I could drag them onto other grooves based on what Im hearing in my head for any particular song.
Appreciate you taking the time though.
