Sorry– I know others have asked this, but I just can’t seem to find the answer. I’m using an EZD3 kit that has everything broken out into separate faders. I’d like to pull in each one of them as separate tracks in Reaper (including tracks for ambiance, par. compression, etc.), but you’re only option is stereo for each — 1/2, 3/4, etc. Under advanced settings there’s a non-functioning option to choose mono outs (for other DAWs). Is there a way to toggle that on? And if not, is there some other way to use a single out channel for each of these EZD3 tracks? I like to tweak individual drums in Reaper with my fx.
And then the question is would Superior Drummer have been a better choice for me if I wanted to really refine individual drums and outputs, etc?
I have this same issue. In EZDrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 2, there were selections to start up in mono (32 tracks). Within Settings/Advanced there is a greyed out section allowing Mono outputs for Cubase/Nuendo only. My main DAW is Digital Performer (11.22) but the same thing occurs with Studio One 6 (artist version). If I select the Mixer Pulldown menu and click on Multichannel, nothing happens, other than to revert everything to Output 1/2 if I happened to select different pairs for each instrument.
Is it just not possible to do this in EZDrummer 3? The mixer section is decent but I can’t do things like ducking (Kick – Bass guitar).
Please let me know?
Thanks,
Wayne
I figured out where I was going wrong.
I had assumed seeing all the outs were designated as stereo pairs – 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 etc. – I couldn’t get mono. UNTIL I noticed in the mixer some fader “LEDS” were actually mono and others (like OH) were stereo.
So just attribute this to me being in panic mode and please ignore this.
Thanks,
Wayne
