EZ Drummer 3 Drum Mapping with Yamaha Moxf8

Hi there,

Just upgraded to EZDrummer 3 a few days ago. I am using a Yamaha Moxf8 as my keyboard Midi Out to

Cubase Elements 11, triggering EZdrummer 3.

While Drum Mapping  EZDrummer 3 on my Cubase . There are sound when I click with my mouse on the Sound nbr/Notes

on Cubase Drum Mapping page.

However, there are no sounds ,ON certain keys, when I press on my Moxf8 keys to trigger..

Operating system: macOS Catalina (10.15)

You would have check your mapping in the E-Drum/MIDI Setting to see where your kit pieces are mapped on your keyboard. You can create your own mapping for your keyboard as well.

Thanks for reply Jordan, . Funny, today after I turn on all my equipments, all keys from Moxf8 are triggering all sounds

from EZDrummer 3.  :-).

However Quote” You can create your own mapping for your keyboard as well.”unquote.

This is useful , but will that affect the sounds when I play some sample grooves from EZDrummer 3?
