EZ Drummer 3 Changing Song Editor from 4/4 to 2/4

I just got EZ Drummer 3. In EZ drummer 2 the default setting in song editor allowed you to past in 4/4 time, half  2/4 bars such as drum fills. In EZ Drummer 3 the default is set at only 4/4. I can’t paste 2/4 drum fills into the track anymore. If I try it ends up pasting the fill to the first two beats of the track. In EZ Drummer 2 you could just click on the grid next to the bar number to split the bar in half, then paste. For example, I want to paste the fill in bar 55 to the 2nd half of bar 43. [See Photo]

How do I change the bar number grid in song editor to enable it to do this like you can in EZ Drummer 2?

Just change your project to 2/4

I tried changing time sig to 2/4. Does not work, it just changes the numbering. I just realized the default bars in EZ Drummer 3 for song creator are 8 beats per bar [as opposed to EZ Drummer 2, which are a standard 4 beats per bar. I can’t seem to find anyway to change this in 3.
