Ez drummer 2 with Akai-LPD8 and Pro tools problem – need help

Hey, I got a big problem..
So I bought the Akai LPD8 pad controller, and it works fine with Ez drummer 2 when i use it outside Pro tools. I cant map out the pads with Ez drummer 2(minor issue atm) the are “pre mapped” and for the moment that will do. But when I choose Ezdrummer 2 as a plug-in in Pro tools, I cant use my pad.. The Akai is detected, so is ez drummer 2 ofc.. i even got the drivers for Akai to try to map it, but it does not seem to respnd to or load it into Ezdrummer 2 when i try to load the mapping…

Let’s get some of the basics out of the way, since it is a first post I don’t know whether you are a PT veteran or new to it as well,
– You are inserting EZDrummer on a stereo instrument track.
– The track is record armed (even if you are not recording)

I could swear the record button was on…. I tried it again this morning, and bam… it worked.. i spent 4 hours trying everything… and now it works…
