EZ Drummer 2 – VST is not installed (and can’t be installed?!)

Hey,

I accidentally moved around a few files on my Macbook and then EZ Drummer 2 VST wouldn’t open anymore in Reaper. AU works well but since I’ve always kept the samples inside the plugin and did NOT drag it into a new track, the drums are gone. For many, many songs. So I tried to reinstall EZ Drummer 2 through the plugin manager – without any success. It keeps telling me “VST is not installed”. And there is no option to manually chose or install VST, not even when I fully un-and-reinstall.

Anyone got an idea or should I say goodbye forever to my music?

Hi,

Start the installer for the latest software update for EZdrummer 2, click the Customize button when it appears in the installer and make sure that the VST is marked to be installed.

Unfortunately, my installer doesnt give me the option to customize:

That is the full installer, not the software update. Click Show Details for EZdrummer 2 in Product Manager to find the update – version 2.2.3.
