Hello everyone, I’m doing a google sheet file because there is mistake (and maybe others) with the midi layout PDF for the ezdrummer modern in the attachment
By exemple, when I use B2 in ableton, it’s not a ride edge but a ride crashed
It is the same for you?
I have an another question, I don’t know what does it mean in the PDF
N°65 Seq Hits
N°63 Tight tip
N°62 Tight edge
N°61 Closed tip
N°46/44/42 GM
N°20 CC variable
Thank you
P.S. sorry for my english, I’m Frech and a beginner drummer 😀
Hi,
different hosts refer to the numbered octaves differently, meaning one host labels a note as B2 while another labels the same note as B3.
This is why it is better to use the note numbers, since they are absolute.
Seq hits are samples picked from a played sequence
Tight Tip is played with the stick on the center (not the Bell, though) of the HH lid with the pedal pressed down
Tight Edge is also played with the pedal pressed down but the stick hitting the edge of the HH
Closed is when the HH is closed but not tightly pressed down
The GM notes are the General MIDI standard trigger notes, Toontrack uses an Extended GM
The CC variable is a trigger that gets varied in openness by moving a foot controller or mod wheel
