Can anyone please explain how to get EZ drummer 2 to show up as a plugin inside GarageBand ? Do I need to download rosetta 2 for it to work ? I have downloaded and installed everything correctly in the Product Manager. The system is :
M1 MacBook Pro 14″ 16gb
Monterey 12.1
I am quite new to making music on computers so any step by step help would be welcome. Thanks
Hello,
I actually went through something similar a few years back when I switched from PC to Mac for EZdrummer, I had never used GarageBand previously as well. Anyhow, a lot of trial and error and it was pretty simple.
When creating a new project, it will have you choose your desired track, choose “Software Instrument.” (It should be the green option.)
Further under the track you’ve just created should be an option “Plug-ins” that already has “E-Piano” chosen, click “E-Piano.”
This is a path you could use to find your plug-in:
AU Instruments > Toontrack > EZdrummer > Stereo
You can also use this as reference:

Good luck
