I purchased EZ Drummer 2 and I absolutely love it. I play mostly rock, blues and metal and I can’t seem to get the best Bang for my buck quite yet. When I attempt to create a song, my volume seems to be either to low or clipping. I have each drum setup on a different track yet I can’t seem to get the volume loud enough. Please don’t get me wrong, I am not trying to blast anything and my levels on bass and the guitars are not blaring but I cannot seem to get the drums loud enough in the mix without either clipping or not having enough “oommph” to push the drums for a great rock mix.
Does anyone have any pointers for getting a big drum sound? I have used compression and several other plugins with hopes of creating a fuller sound but I need some pointers.
I will be happy to assist anyone with any details they may have in order to assist me with my issue.
Currently I am using Pro Tools 11 and Sonar X3 Producer edition.
