Hi…Whenever I launch my EZ Drummer 2 vst through Reaper, I get the following error message (See Attachment). I can click through it but it’s such a pain to have to see it everyday. I just downloaded the 2.2.1 Ez Drummer 2 upgrade a couple of weeks ago so I don’t understand the error message.  Anyone have any idea what’s happening here?

    Thanks,

Most likely the .dll file has been copied to another folder in order for Reaper to “see” it. When Product Manager runs and update, it will update the .dll in the location that EZDrummer was originally installed in. In order to avoid this;Launch EZDrummer standalone, open its Help menu and choose Show Plug-In Path. The path displayed (minus the last part, the dll name) is the path that your host application (Reaper) needs configured.

In Reaper, (I think it’s) Options> Preferences >VST  link under Plug-ins > “Add” and then  navigate to the folder displayed in the Help menu of the standalone.

Remove the Ezdrummer.dll from the location that Reaper is currently seeing it.

    Rescan.

Yes, Brad is correct. The picture is dark in that area but I am pretty certain the version number in the lower right corner of the plug-in interface is 2.1.1, so when you are updating, you are not updating the copied EZdrummer.dll file that Reaper sees.
