EZ Drummer 2 – digital download. Won’t install on Windows 8

Hi,
I’ve just bought and registered EZDrummer 2. There was no disc in the box, just a serial key.

After downloading and attempting to install, I keep getting the following error:

Error 1311.Source file not found:
C:Users*username*AppDataLocalTempTemp3_TT206_EZdrummer2_WIN202.zipEZdrummer2_WINDATA.cab
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

When searching for the file via the AppData folder (hidden by default) the file is there, but I still get the same error when clicking on the install .exe.

I’m running the 64bit installer as my laptop is 64bit.

Any ideas?

That clearly shows that you are trying to run the installer from
within the zip-file. Extract the zip first and then run the installer.
