EZ Drummer 2 custom set sound issues

guys really stuck here….

when using one library – lets say standard ezd2 set as you launch the programme – I want to change just the snare sound using snare of lets say Metal!ez library that I have installed. Unfortunately sound of that snare is somewhat totally differnt/really poor as if I would launch whole kit from Metal!ezx library. Really annoying as all I want is to load snare sound to be sounding properly. any help appreciated

 

i also realised that when running Made of Metal EZX library and trying loading MEtal! snare sound onto it….there is no signal in Snare channel on mixer….very odd

do the global mixer settings have impact on such discrepancy in sound quality of individual drum part – in this instance snare?

Made of Metal has a lot of snare mics. So many, in fact, that all of them are not used in all presets. Metal! has only a single snare mic and if that isn’t used, by the MoM preset you have loaded, then the snare will only play in the room mics and you get that inferiour sound.

Hello OP. I am also having the exact same problem with snare sounds from ALL OF MY EZX!!
