Hello.
EZ drummer 2 is causing massive overload to CPU on songs reloaded from an earlier version of Pro Tools, as a result drums freeze up the session when trying to record or playback. The average CPU usage is between 15 to 25% with other plug in’s running but as soon as EZ drummer 2 is activated either through aux channels in Pro Tools or when attempting to record on to an audio track the CPU jumps straight to 100% usage so causing freeze up. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Nigel Moore.
I have purchased and downloaded EZ Drummer 3 upgrade from 2 and it was placed in my product manager file but once installed it says that the core library is damaged and I must reinstall EZ3 and presumably the core library. How do I do this?
Thank You,
Nigel Moore
Make sure you have only one ezdrummer running. It is easy to turn on multiple ezdrummers, while trying to figure it out, and they use up a lot of cpu unneccesarily.

Hi,
using the Product Manager application, you browse to the EZdrummer 3 product and click ‘Show Details’. Then click the ‘Download’ button for the EZDrummer 3 software.
When it is downloaded you click ‘Install’ in the small hamburger menu right next to the ‘Download’ button. There is also the option to Uninstall if you wish to do that first.
Next, browse to the EZX Sound Expansions and the EZdrummer 3 Core Library. Click the ‘Show Details’ to Download and Install the full product installer, followed by the updates.

John

Hi. I have a 64-bit PC and have EZdrummer 2&3 installed in the 64 and 32-bit versions, can I safely uninstall the 32-bit versions, they appear to be draining my CPU?
Thanks, Nigel
