Hi guys,
Can anyone please tell me how can I use my midi controller keyboard to play ezdrummer 2 and cubase 7?
as a stand alone I use my keyboard , no problem.
In cubase, for any other virtual instrument I can see the midi input where I can select my keyboard and play the insrument.
For ezdrummer I don’t see any midi input option (eg. the ezdrummer midi track on cubase doesn’t show any way to select a midi input).
Am I missing something here?
I’m using Cubase 7
Windows 7 home addition.
Help, please
Thanks
I am having the same trouble using EZdrummer2 in my DAW program which is Samplitude Pro Suite. I can configure my keyboard in Samplitude to play the virtual synth in Samplitude, it will control instruments through Samplitude with Reason rewired in. It will control EZdrummer stand alone, but will not allow me to configure or use the keyboard with EZdrummer 2 used as a VST plug in. I have checked and found that I can open Samplitude, then open EZdrummer2 and it works standalone with samplitude open. My guess is this is normal behavior for EZdrummer. I wish Toontrack would address this, as it is annoying having to open ezdrummer stand alone to make changes to a midi file.
