    Hi,

have you rebooted your Mac in between uninstalling and re-installing?

Please see this FAQ for deleting the AU cache:
    https://www.toontrack.com/faq/ezdrummer-no-longer-works-with-logic/
rebooting after clearing the cache is recommended.

    BR,
    John

If the above doesn’t help, please check here if the AU is really installed: Toontrack Product Manager (the application) > EZdrummer 2 > Show Details > Installation Info.

Also, you won’t find it under “AU Generators” in GarageBand but under “AU Instruments.”

Never mind, I just saw in your support ticket that you are using GarageBand 6.0.5. That’s a 32-bit host. GarageBand 10 is 64-bit. EZdrummer 2.2.2 is 64-bit only (and the Product Manager warns about that when you install the update).

I’ve tried all of the above. It still won’t load. IS there a way to attach screeenshots on here?

Super frustrated as I did a lot of work on the demo version and I am on a deadline.

Underneath the area where you enter your narrative, you will see a widget “SELECT FILE”. Click that to upload a screen print.

As Olof mentioned, if you really are using GB 6.0.5 (a 32bit application), it is not compatible with EZD2, (a 64bit application).

Yes I am aware that it is 64 bit. The workaround is that supposedly the one of the previous versionis 32 bit and will run. However it won’t load.fix

Yes I have rebooted and gone through that Faq to no avail. My garageband is actually version 6.0.5

Hi, from your installation info (fix 1.jpg) it seems like only the library and RTAS is installed. What happens if you run the 2.1.8 full installer and click the Customise button, to make sure that the AU is checked?

Do you still not get the AU and Standalone installed when you check the Installation Info Tab?

    Got it working! So happy!

From the customer support this is what worked for me

Start the Terminal, then copy and paste the command below, you will need to enter your password to run this command. The password is not visible when you are typing in the terminal.
sudo — bash -c ‘pkgutil –forget com.toontrack.ezdrummer.aax.pkg; pkgutil –forget com.toontrack.ezdrummer.vst.pkg; pkgutil –forget com.toontrack.ezdrummer.au.pkg; pkgutil –forget com.toontrack.ezdrummer.app.pkg’
After running that command, launch the 2.1.8 installer again and it should install.
