Hi to all!
I bought a copy of EZ Drummer 1.2.0 but have realised it is not compatable with win 7 64-bit as the store I bought it from didn’t mention anything about the version of EZD I was buying.
When I try to install it, I get an error message saying it’s not compatable. After conducting further research it was to my great excitement that I learned it was possible to download for free EZD 1.2.1 providing I registered my copy of 1.2.0! So I did just that, now I’ve hit another brick wall; I can’t download the 1.2.1 because the original copy isn’t installed. But I can’t do that because it’s not compatible!
HELP!!!
Please log into your Toontrack account and download the full product download (click the red PC button). Then apply the 1.2.1 update.

Ok, after much distress I have managed to get it working with reaper.
Another brick wall: DFH requires 1.2.1. The 1.2.1 update isn’t working. It successfully installs, but doesn’t seem to take effect. When I’m using EZD in the bottem corner it still says 1.2.0…
Have you moved the .dll from where it was originally installed? Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit versions of EZdrummer? Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Reaper? Please take some time to fill in your system specs in your Member Profile page.

I had to make a folder for ezd.dll because it was installed just in my documents and it wouldn’t apear when I browsed for it from reaper.
64 bit reaper, and I have no idea which ez it is, I clicked downloads like you suggested.
I still don’t know anything about your system (Win7 32-bit/64-bit, XP, Vista 32-bit/64-bit, amount of RAM, type of soundcard, etc) but anyways…
If you move the .dll, any future updates will not work. I would run the uninstaller and manually delete any ‘folders’ you’ve created. Then reinstall and select the ‘Custom’ install option and select the folder where you want things installed. Then, run the 1.2.1 updater. In Reaper, you can add a path to a folder if Reaper doesn’t find a plugin by default (Options->Preferences->Plugins->VST).
Without knowing more about your specific system, I really can’t offer much further help.
